salah satu interpretasi umum dari kutipan ini adalah jika seseorang diberikan topeng, maka ia akan berbicara yang sebenarnya, dengan kata lain, anonimitas. Namun, menurut saya pribadi, kutipan ini jauh lebih dalam dari sekedar bicara kebenaran, ini perihal jati diri.

jika seseorang diberikan topeng, ia belum tentu akan berbicara tentang kebenaran, tapi ia pasti akan menunjukan siapa dia sebenarnya, apakah dia seorang sinis? realis? atheis? gay? apapun, yang tidak bisa ia tunjukan di dunia nyata karena, mengutip ted mosby, ia memiliki bagasi, barang bawaan berupa status sosial, keluarga, bibit bebet dan bobot dia.

anonimitas menghilangkan tanggung jawab, tanyakan saja pada bruce wayne.

anonimitas adalah akibat dari eksekusi hak kebebasan berpendapat yang sebenarnya tidak bebas.

tidak bebas karena selain status sosial seseorang sebagai pribadi, juga karena manusia yang sangat menghakimi, bayangkan jika anda melihat sebuah post super bagus dari seorang anonim disebuah website tentang politik, tentu penilaian anda akan berbeda jika substansi yang sama disampaikan oleh orang yang tidak terampil berbicara di depan umum, atau disampaikan oleh seorang yang sangat menawan terampil dalam berbicara.

satu lagi majalah jadi korban internet.

kalo diingat, medio 2000an, internet belum menjadi hal yang lumrah di masyarakat, bahkan di masyarakat kelas menengah ke atas sekalipun, paling banter email, itupun saya merasa paling hebat satu sekolah waktu sudah punya email di usia 12 tahun.

pada masa pra-internet, sumber informasi yang terpercaya itu cuma dua, televisi dan majalah, yang artinya hanya orang yang kerja di televisi dan di majalah yang punya akses ke sumber primer, kita di sini cuma bisa nerimo aja informasi yang diberikan, entah itu hoax ga jelas ttg MSG, atau gossip artis luar, yang sebenarnya suka telat seminggu karena harus nunggu majalah selesai translate + majalah terbit.

semuanya berubah waktu negara api menyerang

of course, by world's standard, 16mbps is slow, downloading torrent at 1,5Megabyte per second is slow, but its a decent speed, 10 minutes for 500MB 1080p 25 minutes anime episode, 30 minutes for 2GB yify torrents, and 3 hours for full HD 1080p BlurayRip.
